# How-To: Use Your Own API Key

> Connect your own API keys from OpenAI, Mistral, and other providers

## Steps

1. Open settings with `Cmd+,`.
2. Open API Keys.
3. Select provider and paste key.
4. Type `/` in prompt to confirm custom models appear.
